Today was the last practice before the big event. This moment when everything drains into it – months of hard work, miles of running, countless moments of pain, fatigue, and passion that never ends.
Today’s training was focused. Thorough warm-up, increasing runs, and a final set of intervals – maximum accuracy, competition pace, high heart rate but under control. The body feels ready, the head is sharp.
